Mission/Description
The Foundation Center is a resource for nonprofit organizations and individuals seeking information about grants and grantmaking organizations. The Center is a member of a nationwide network of Cooperating Collections, overseen by The Foundation Center in New York City, a national organization dedicated to making information about philanthropic giving available to the public.

 The Foundation Center opened in November 1992 as a joint venture of the Grantmakers of Western Pennsylvania and The Carnegie Library of Pittsburgh, growing out of the Grantmakers' vision for a comprehensive, accessible information resource center for the local grantseeking community.

Mission:
- To provide a quality learning environment which develops in each individual student the knowledge, skills, and commitment to work as an artist in society
- To espouse a pluralism that respects origins and encourages innovation
- To expand self-understanding; advance the disciplines and traditions of the arts; benefit society; and enhance the quality of life in contemporary culture
- To explore new areas of knowledge and performance through experimentation and research It is the responsibility of the College of Fine Arts as a whole, in order to achieve its mission, to perform the following functions:
- Enable and facilitate the realization of the goals and objectives of the individual schools, centers and programs within the College
- Provide advocacy for the creative arts within the Carnegie Mellon Community
- Encourage interaction among the arts and among other disciplines
- Furnish an administrative umbrella for resource development, public presentation and dissemination of arts information
- Promote dissemination of the arts across the campus and to the community, as well as encourage an understanding of the place of the arts both nationally and internationally

Mission/Description
Chhandayan Inc. is a not-for-profit organization of music registered under the states of New York, New Jersey, Maryland, Pennsylvania and Florida.  It has been conducting its activities mainly out of New York and New Jersey since April 1998 and its three initial directors are Mr. Chatterjee, Mr. Debapriya Nayak and Mr. Eric Phinney. Its purpose is to preserve and promote the rich heritage of Indian music in the United States.  In this process it also intends to solidify its connection with World Music.  Its sole purpose is to satisfy in all possible ways, the interest and enthusiasm for Indian music.

The CGP maintains a goal to aid regional craftspersons in the professional development of their art work through collaboration and networking.  We offer a broad variety of opportunities through lectures, demonstrations, workshops, and exhibitions to aid in the promotion and sale of their works. The Craftsmen's Guild also produces the annual "a Fair in the Park", a fine arts and craft festival now in it's 39th year.
