Founded in 1908, the Mendelssohn Choir of Pittsburgh is renowned for its diverse repertoire, including oratorio, symphonic, opera, Broadway, and folk music. Comprised of more than 120 volunteer singers and a 20-voice professional core, the Mendelssohn performs as a full choir and also a chamber chorus. Through its own concerts and as the choir of choice of the Pittsburgh Symphony, The Mendelssohn has built a broad audience for classical and popular choral music.

Mission/Description
Nandanik Dance Troupe was formed to promote and popularize the various classical, folk and contemporary dance forms of India; to teach the beauty and splendor of the rich Indian culture and heritage through the global language of dance; and to foster international understanding of diverse cultures. Annual productions are conducted to celebrate these dance forms and to make the public aware of their nature, in the hope that more individuals will take part in learning and understanding the Indian culture.

The New Hazlett Theater is a flexible-use rental venue on Pittsburgh's Northside. The New Hazlett Theater cultivates and nurtures the performing arts in Pittsburgh and serves as a stable, affordable home for Pittsburgh's diverse small arts groups. The venue provides professional production support amenities, including modern equipment, knowledgeable technical staff, functional dressing rooms, and flexible production spaces.
