Boyd Community Center enriches the lives and strengthens the community by providing a vibrant and welcoming place for community engagement. The Center delivers dynamic, high quality cultural, educational, and recreational classes, camps, and workshops and memorable special events.
The Braddock's Field Historical Society / Braddock Creative Arts program seeks partnerships with schools, community members, businesses and government to build opportunities that enhance the quality of life through art.
The mission of the Brew House Association is to encourage community participation and to create educational opportunities in the creative arts for artists as well as non-artists.
Pittsburgh CAPA High School is an arts magnet program in the Pittsburgh Public Schools and has been in existence since 1979. Our mission is to provide the highest quality education in an atmosphere that nurtures the individual artistic talents of each student.
The Carnegie Mellon University College of Fine Arts' mission is to provide a quality learning environment which develops in each individual student the knowledge, skills, and commitment to work as an artist in society; to espouse a pluralism that respects origins and encourages innovation; to expand self-understanding; to advance the disciplines and traditions of the arts; benefit society; and enhance the quality of life in contemporary culture; and to explore new areas of knowledge and performance through experimentation and research.
The mission of the Gateway to the Arts (GTA) is to transform the lives and education of children through active participation in the arts and inspire students and educators to become lifelong learners and participants in the arts by making the arts integral to education.
In 1999, Hope Academy of Music and the Arts was founded to bring arts to the children and youth of Pittsburgh. We offer a safe place where young people of diverse ethnic, economic, and religious backgrounds can further their personal and artistic growth through the study and performance of music and the arts.
Through nationally recognized and acclaimed year-round programs, Manchester Craftsmen's Guild Youth and Arts strives to educate and inspire by engaging the community in learning through the arts.
Monongalia Arts Center's (MAC) mission is to provide a home for the visual, performing and literary arts through educational programming and community extension.
Pitt Arts was established in 1997 by the University of Pittsburgh to connect its students to the cultural life of Pittsburgh and to encourage student attendance and active involvement in the arts programming on campus and in the city.
The Hillman Center for Performing Arts is Shadyside Academy's primary performing arts classroom. As a teaching and learning space, the Hillman Center offers current students a chance to discover and nurture their talents.
Believing that the arts are necessary to human life, that they know no geographic, racial or religious boundaries, and that they must be readily available and accessible to everyone, Sweetwater Center for the Arts seeks to stimulate broad-based interest in and support for those who create and appreciate the arts of all cultures through quality art education experiences.
Tickets for Kids Charities seeks to include our deserving children and families in quality community, educational and entertainment events and activities. In doing so, Tickets for Kids hopes to bring a source of belonging and joy, to children and families who, otherwise, may never have a chance to participate fully in our enriching community resources.
